La photographie accompagne le parcours de Laurent Armand depuis plus de 10 ans, une passion devenue fil conducteur de sa vie créative. Au fil des années, il a trouvé son terrain d'expression privilégié dans le studio, cet espace où tout naît dans l'obscurité et où chaque source lumineuse devient un outil de sculpture visuelle.
Son approche photographique repose sur une double exigence : la maîtrise technique de l’éclairage et l'authenticité de la relation humaine. Chaque prise de vue est le fruit d'un équilibre entre le positionnement minutieux des lumières, la chorégraphie des ombres et des halos et ces moments de connexion avec ses modèles où la confiance transforme un portrait en révélation. Chaque séance devient une véritable collaboration, construite à partir des idées, de l'univers et des envies de ceux qu'il photographie.
Si le studio reste son terrain de prédilection, il transpose également ces techniques d'éclairage à l'extérieur. Faire dialoguer la lumière artificielle avec celle du jour, maîtriser les caprices du soleil, adapter son approche studio au grand air... Une aventure qui le pousse toujours plus loin.
Aujourd'hui, il met cette technique et cette sensibilité au service de projets variés, qu'il s'agisse d'immortaliser un art, une passion ou simplement de capturer un moment de vie, en imaginant et construisant des images qui ressemblent à ceux qui les portent.
